Ok, that's it. I'm trying to learn vim one more time!

The last time I tried to use vim, I gave up because I was doing it all wrong. I tried to use vim as my main editor. But every time I had to do something fast, I just opened Textmate.

Textmate is a powerful editor, and, although vim can be even more powerful, it is also a lot harder. The tradeoff (time to learn X benefits) wasn't good enough for me.

At that time I just had to access one application at a Ubuntu Server machine. When I had to edit some config files, it was just a matter of opening nano, edit and save. Things have changed. Today I have access to three machines, a few applications, and lots of config files. Nano is way too simple.

After reading this post from Yehuda Katz, and specially this list with lots of screencasts, tutorials and other resources, I decided to give vim another try.
